Of course the first thing we did on getting mobile yesterday was pay a visit to our favorite store in the universe, Maude Vintage. What did we find?

The best dressing room ever. It has a staircase.
The perfect shade of green in a little Indian cotton bolero with gold embroidery, $10. We are crazy for the sleeves...look at that insane volume!
This bold floral is clearly in the spirit of recent runway everything, but, alas, no. We are not a floral person. At least not this kind of floral.
Okay okay, we know. Jersey is hard to wear. But, with the right foundation garments, and maybe tied up a little higher in an empire waist, it would be lovely. And again, the color...a gorgeous spicy pumpkin. $7.
This is maybe the coolest dress ever. Insane pleats in a super starched cotton voile, all grey and yellow and black, for $20. But, since it was slightly too big and definitely too long and, for Maude, ever so slightly too pricey...left behind.
The great thing about Maude is that they add to their stock almost every day, so we go at least three times every visit. Can't wait for next week...
